Tell me about Animal Kingdom...
The newest of all the Disney theme parks, Animal Kingdom creates a mixture of fun and entertainment with a focus on nature, conservation and a great environment for the animals at the park.
Discovery Island
Right at the centre of the park is Discovery Island, where the main feature is the huge Tree of Life which is an amazing sight in itself. Underneath the tree is the 3D show It's Tough to be a Bug, featuring Flick and other stars from the movie. It's a very funny show, but can be a little scary for the very young.

Africa
The big crowd puller in the African zone is the Kilimanjaro Safari. You hit the plains of Africa in search of the no-good poachers who are operating in the area. The safari is best experienced as soon as the park opens before the animals seek cover from the midday sun.
The Pangani Forest Exploration trail is also in Africa, where you can see the fabulous Gorillas, Hippos and a variety of Africa's other creatures.
You can also take the Wildlife Express up to the Conservation Station, an area full of exhibits that show conservation in action. There is also a petting area where the yougsters can stroke and groom the pigmy goats.
