Orlando is
packed full of entertainment for the whole family. Although
dominated by the Disney and the Universal theme
parks, there are many other activities to keep you occupied.
Disney Theme Parks
There are four Disney Theme Parks as well as the water parks and its Downtown
area. A full week could be dedicated to the Disney attractions without going
anywhere twice. Magic Kingdom, MGM
Studios, EPCOT and Animal
Kingdom offer entertainment for all ages and for those hot summer days
what better than a trip to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon to cool down.
Downtown Disney offers shopping, entertainment and places to eat and for those
amateur golfers there is Fantasia golf and ***** to wile away a few hours.

The Cat in the Hat

Both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure offer a mix of
rides and entertainment. Universal Studios is one of the largest Theme Parks in Orlando offering classic
rides such as Jaws and Back to the Future, it is also home to Nickelodeon
Studios. Its partner Park Islands of Adventure has Suess Landings a must see
for the smaller members of the party and a number of rides guaranteed to cool
you down on the hottest of days. On the approach to both Parks is City Walk
which comes alive in the evening with music from all genres whilst also
offering numerous places to eat also open in the day along with usual mix of
shops.
SeaWorld and Discovery Cove
Although home to the famous Kracken Roller Coaster and one of many water rides
to be found in Orlando the focus is much more on the animals and sea life.
There are many shows and displays to see including that of the world renowned
killer whale Shamu and his friends. Discovery Cove on the other hand focuses
more on first hand experiences with the sea life giving people the opportunity
to swim with the Dolphins.
Orlando's Other Attractions
Orlando itself offers many other attractions for the tourist such as Cypress
Gardens a taste of old Florida and Gatorland for the chance to experience
Florida’s Native wildlife the Alligator as well as many other animals and
Birds. There are yet more waterparks such as Water Mania and Wet and Wild
offering yet more opportunities to cool down on those hot Florida summer days.
For a change from the Theme Parks there is the Orlando Science Center for an
interactive experience for all or Ripleys Believe it or not for those museum
buffs.
